About Me

My photo
Welcome! This blog is where I post a selection of what I do. So what do I do? Well, a lot. That's what makes this so tricky. But I'm going to try to make it good. I'd love to hear what you think! Blessed be, and enjoy. If you want to know more about me, or how this came to be, I recommend you read this: http://thessalders.blogspot.nl/2014/02/a-new-chapter.html

Moving forward one step at a time...

Relocating old work and uploading new work turns out to be a lot of work.

Who would've thought, huh?

Rest assured, I'm working on it. Translating texts to English, changing some links, it's all pretty simple work. So soon this blog will be much better filled. So bear with me.

It's a work in progress.

Two

One week further.

As opposed to the week before, these pictures are more about the light, and less about the crash and the accidents.

Also, there are fewer cars this time, and more bikes, because I was hoping that that would make the pictures seem less staged.

I tried different settings as well. The plan made for the week after this one was not to use total darkness, but rather the blueness of fading daylight.

That way I wouldn't have to maim my pictures with this ridiculous ISO as much.

This week I was able to take more time, because it didn't involve asking my model to lie on the ice.
Not very comfy.

This is the one I liked best, in terms of light an composition:
 But it's tilted! Aagh!

Some others from the selection:

I am a huge fan of the way the light is reflected on the street surface after the rain here. I was then and I am now. It's beautiful. Too bad that the picture isn't much good.
