A photography class from freshman year.
The assignment was this:
Think of a title for a news article, and take pictures for the article.
Later the assignment would evolve.
For nine weeks, every week, we took pictures, and the story that they told changed. Became less literal and more artistic in it's foundations.
Each week we made dozens of pictures (if not more), and we made a selection of the best ones to discuss in class.
After six weeks we were asked to make a top 10 out of all of the proceeding weeks' photographs.
After nine weeks, we had to choose three. Three out of hundreds. Yeah.
Finally, we discussed the process.
Every step of this class can be found on the pages below. Enjoy, and let me know what you think!
Week one - don't go there. The ugliness hurts my eyes.

About Me
- Thessa Alders
- Welcome! This blog is where I post a selection of what I do. So what do I do? Well, a lot. That's what makes this so tricky. But I'm going to try to make it good. I'd love to hear what you think! Blessed be, and enjoy. If you want to know more about me, or how this came to be, I recommend you read this: http://thessalders.blogspot.nl/2014/02/a-new-chapter.html
Moving forward one step at a time...
Relocating old work and uploading new work turns out to be a lot of work.
Who would've thought, huh?
Rest assured, I'm working on it. Translating texts to English, changing some links, it's all pretty simple work. So soon this blog will be much better filled. So bear with me.
It's a work in progress.
